"This is no ordinary middle school, but with a name like Lovecraft, you know it's going to be weird."

Fresh Fiction Review

With strange happenings at Lovecraft Middle School such as students disappearing and rats jumping from lockers, twelve-year-old Robert Arthur knew it was going to be weird. As if that's not enough, the school library is a labyrinth of corridors and his science teacher is...odd. In this book you will find monsters, mysteries, and adventure for readers aged 10 and up. PROFESSOR GARGOYLE is the start of a brand new series that promises to be fun, gruesome and mysterious. And what a fun cover this one has! With the holographic evolution from professor to insanely smiling gargoyle, I find myself putting the book on my desk then shifting from side to side, if even just to get a giggle. Who says I can't regress now and then? I loved the fun tale, and especially the drawings peppered throughout. For parents considering this book, I let my thirteen-year-old daughter read this also, and she loved it. She is an avid reader of darker fiction, fantasy and science fiction. The horror elements resonated with her, as well as the characters. PROFESSOR GARGOYLE is the first book in the Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series, and I will be looking forward to continuing with the series. Fans of middle school reading that contains fun horror and supernatural aspects told with a realistic flair should love this one.
