Romance

Jacob Decker used to be Emme's best friend's boyfriend. But now that has ended and years have passed, Deck and Emme are reunited once again with a case that brings forth a little bit of mayhem. As Deck tries to wrap up a PI case while keeping Emme safe from harm, he discovers that he missed out on a wonderful chance to be with her. His love for her is blazing; it's fast and it's powerful but sometimes it burns. Emme must learn how to find a balance between her heart and her head and figure out if Jacob Decker is the one man for her. Kristen Ashley returns to Gnaw Bone, Colorado with a familiarity and a sense of comfort. Immediately, readers are put back into a world that is filled with hard heroes and the women who love them. Deck is the latest hero to have his time in the limelight. Cunning, resourceful and intelligence, Deck is the thinker of the bunch. His genius IQ doesn't stop him from making mistakes though. When it comes to Emmanuelle Holmes, he is a fool in love. Seeing that type of devotion from a man like Deck melts the icy recesses of my heart. Ashley's books are refreshingly heartwarming and tender, making it the perfect comfort read. Fans of Chace and Faye will have more reason to read this book as they are quite a few interesting updates on their life. One of my favourite things about Ashley's books is that she continues to build a family of friends with each installment, highlighting all types of love as well as growing her series. KALEIDOSCOPE possesses all that makes Kristen Ashley a must- read: heat, heart and humor blend effortlessly in this brilliant serving.
