What is a geotechnical engineer to do when the guy hitting on her is her sneaky boss? And her friend at work tries to set up a double date which includes said boss? Josh Campbell is a handsome Ivy League man, way out of Caroline's orbit, but his idea of dinner turns out to be pizza from a local eatery and a chat with someone who he knows doesn't want anything from him. The two grew up near each other but haven't been connecting in years, and Caroline is surprised to find Josh isn't as snobby as she expected. There are serious issues between their families. However there were never problems between these two, and after food and wine they relax and start kissing, and end up in bed despite Josh's better judgement.

Josh develops real estate and it happens Caroline is able to advise him on a survey, which was carried out by a male engineer at her firm after she ignored the boss's advances once too often. She believes ground-penetrating radar and electromagnetic pulses should be used to see if there is anything deep under this site, but that hasn't been done. Is there a conflict of interest here? I noticed the attitude of his father who asks if he'd seriously slept with an engineer, was he that desperate? Time the financiers got some shaking up methinks.
