RAVENOUS gives us Jesse and Erin's story. It is a sweet romance that endears the characters to the reader. Erin and Jesse are from a small town and in love. Erin thought that they would be together forever but Jesse wanted more. When Jesse leaves their small town to follow his dreams Erin stays behind with a broken heart. Years later Jesse returns home for a party at his mother's and as fate would have it Erin is catering the party. The sparks fly between the two right from the start but can love find its way back to Jesse and Erin?
I truly enjoyed RAVENOUS. I loved watching the reconnection between these two. The love that the two have for each other is evident in all that they do. Both find that each is to blame for their past mistakes. The two find a way to move forward and not dwell on the past making for a nice read.
RAVENOUSis full of emotions and pulls the reader into the world that Eden Summers has built. I loved the emotions in this book. Both Jesse and Erin must deal with love, life and family making many readers able to connect with them. True love is strong and lasts forever. Eden Summers does a wonderful job of bringing these characters and their world to life.
Both Erin and Jesse grow up but never lose their love for one another. These two make a great couple and I easily connected to them. They both have separately made a life for themselves but find love can bring them together again. Not only do the main characters have their say but the secondary ones have a voice all their own as well. Erin's sister and mother were a great addition to this story.
It was great to see these two stubborn people finally let their guard down and grab for their happiness. Eden Summers knows just how to weave a wonderful story and has quickly become an author I look forward to reading more from.
Sheβs a small town caterer, heβs a big city chef, but they
donβt need a kitchen to make things sizzle...
Erin McDonald likes her simple life in her small town: no
drama, no fuss, no uncertainty...until Jesse Hackett breezes
back into town. Erin never quite got over how he left for
the bright lights of the big city, and took her heart with
him.
Jesse never regretted his decision to leave small town life
behind and chase his big city dreams, but heβs always
regretted leaving Erin behind. No woman has ever compared,
and once he convinces Erin to let him touch her again, heβs
never going to let her go.
Sparks fly and fires are rekindled, but the basic divide
still remains: what really matters in life β location or
love?
