As my first book Maxwell, I wasn't aware that I'd be jumping into a sweet romance full of laughter, sensuality and rawness. However, I am so glad that I gave this book a shot. With Maxwell's unique brand of writing, she had me laughing out loud in some areas while making me fall in love in others. As I mentioned before, the chemistry between Vanessa and Jax is strong and palpable. Their constant bickering and need to outdo the other was playful and flirty, making it so easy to believe in the romance. I, myself, was falling in love with Jax after each page. Fans of Julie James will get a kick out of this series. With its quick wit and playful banter, readers will sure enjoy every page of this sensual book.

What was interesting about Vanessa's character in particular was that she initially sets herself up to look stern and uptight, but as the story goes on, you definitely see another side to her. The story wouldn't be so compelling if she wasn't willing to fight back with Jax. I think that's what makes RULES OF ENTANGLEMENT so enjoyable. You have two characters who are very strong in their own rights. Put them together and their minds clash, but Maxwell does it in a highly entertaining way.

Fighting for love has never been more enjoyable. For a book with a playful attitude, some raw sensuality and a hotter- than-hell hero, do yourself a favor and pick up RULES OF ENTANGLEMENT and prepare to fall in love!
