Liz and her partner, Nate are having a drink after serving a
summons when she sees the ghost of her high school best
friend, telling her to come home. Shortly after that, Liz
gets a phone call telling her that her grandmother has died.
After her return to Stella Maris, Liz learns that her
grandmother was murdered. Her brother is the police chief
and warns her off the case but Liz is stubborn and won't
give up. With Colleen's help, Liz will search out the truth.

a conspiracy of lies surrounding the youth camp.
Ms. Boyer writes a fascinating story with the hint of ghost
story mixed in with the mystery. With many plot twists and
a very surprising ending, LOWCOUNTRY BOIL kept me guessing
all the way through.
