What he did not plan on was finding Drucella Chapman at the heart of his case. Dru is walking a dangerous path as she assumes another identity and has plans to catch a murderer. She did not think a pretend engagement would go so far and she just might find herself married to a monster, yet she will do whatever it takes to stop him. Worse than that is meeting Joss and having such a connection to him she is unable to stay away from him despite the danger to them both. Joss has found his love yet he can't tell her he is working undercover so he lets Dru believe he is as much of a monster as the man he supposedly works for. Knowing all of this makes Joss more determined than ever to complete his mission which he will do but not in the way his boss expects.

She outdoes herself in THE REUNITED where old and new characters are fleshed out to such a degree that I found myself feeling as if I right there being a part of their lives. I could not put THE REUNITED down once I started reading, It has a unique concept that paranormal and suspense readers will love. With her penchant for steamy romances THE REUNITED is all of that and so much more because this couple has seen much tragedy and endured a lifetime of separation, so much so that I watching them try and find a way to happiness is heartwrenching yet exhilarating. Ms. Walker please keep this series going since it includes my two favorite romance sub-genre.
