THE ACCIDENTAL GENIE

Romance Paranormal

A Genie named Jeannie? You might think her name is silly, but I thought it was perfect. I've never had so much fun with a paranormal romance. This light-hearted fantastical romp will have you laughing out loud.

During a catering assignment, Jeannie finds herself sucked into a bottle of gin. She uses her phone to search for and callΒ OOPS (Out in the Open Paranormal Support) for help. A werewolf shows up to rub the bottle in an attempt to get her out. But she starts calling him Master and begins random accidentally granting wishes at random. Will her life ever return to normal?

The humor in this book wasn't what you might expect from such a frilly- looking cover. It's dark and very often dirty. It's like the PNR version of Bridesmaids.Β I can't believe how well Dakota was able to blend the humorous and the magical elements. This was such a finely crafted tale of comedy and fantasy.

ACCIDENTAL GENIE is a hilariously modern throwback to the TV show I Dream of Jeannie. Dakota Cassidy really knows how to write witty yet strong female characters, and I look forward to each of her books.

After giving it a good rub, Jeannie emerges dressed like a character from Arabian Nights and starts calling Sloan β€œMaster.” Now, they need to figure out how to break their unwanted bond, before the wishes Jeannie can’t stop granting get them into more trouble than even the OOPS girls can handle…
