As mayor of Duck, North Carolina, Dae O'Donnell must meet the needs of her community. Those needs are getting harder as the the next election approaches. For the first time, Dae has an opponent who is determined to do whatever it takes to win the campaign, including smearing the current mayor.

Dae's talent for finding lost items has been developing to the point that sometimes when she touches an item, she gets submerged in the past.
