Kelly Flynn, a CPA recently moved from the DC area to Fort
Connor, Colorado, is a dyed-in-the-wool knitter, caffeine
fanatic and sometime tour guide for local tours of area
Alpaca farms. Leading a tour to Vickie Claymore's secluded
mountain farm, Kelly is horrified to discover the body of
her friend in the middle of the floor, her throat cut.
There are any number of suspects out there, including
Vickie's soon to be ex-husband, who cheated on Vickie with
another weaver. When Lt. Peterson, the detective in charge
of the Claymore case, focuses on a member of the weaving
club, Kelly decides to do some investigating of her own.
With the help of Vickie's cousin, Jayleen Swinson, Kelly
soon finds herself deep into an investigation involving
defaulted loans, money theft and alpaca switching, leading
to a frightening confrontation with their chief suspect.
Sefton has crafted a delightful tale with many twists and
turns. Fort Connor is populated with fun characters, and
Sefton has a way with descriptions that brings the town to
life. Mystery readers are going to enjoy this newest
addition to her Knitting Mystery series.
Taking a troop of tourists to Vickie Claymore's alpaca farm
doesn't earn knitter Kelly Flynn a warm welcome. Instead
she finds Vickie splayed out on her original hand-woven
rug, her blood seeping into the design.
