After sacrificing herself as a Tithe and drinking from the waters of lethe, Abby Sinclair finds herself in a world of trouble. She is killed and becomes married to an eleven prince named Talivar while her incubus lover , Brystion, loses his powers and is turned into a mortal. It doesn't help that she doesn't remember certain events and is forced to stay within Faerie. The Key to the CrossRoads is lost and now Abby must do all that she can to restore things in its rightful order before it's too late.
Abby Sinclair is a fun heroine with her unicorn sidekick named Phin. Though she isn't a physical fighter, she is intelligent and definitely takes initiative in times of need. Allison Pang develops a love triangle between Abby, Brystion and Talivar that makes it tricky for readers to pick a side. Brystion is seduction and comfort while Talivar is loyal and possesses a quiet strength.
Allison Pang has a wickedly vivid imagination and only that limits what happens in each of her books. She is able to conjure up the most interesting and sometimes, shocking events that really push A TRACE OF MOONLIGHT forward. As Pang takes readers on a ride filled with twist and turns, more of the Dreaming is revealed and it has to be my favorite part of this series.
Fans of Richelle Mead's Dark Swan series, Kim Harrison and Jaye Wells will find new reason to be excited as they discover the elaborate, fantastical world that Pang has created. A TRACE OF MOONLIGHT is not to be missed!
