Cassandra Cassidy attends a gathering of local Indian tribes
called Rendezvous. While talking with some of the
participants and taking shots, she meets up with another
photographer. Eric Hartfield is an old enemy of
Cassandra's.
After exchanging some cross words and some idle threats,
Cassandra returns to her car to pick up some extra SD cards.
She watches a tomahawk throwing contest and then wanders
around for a while. Coming across the sweat lodge, she also
finds the body of Eric Hartfield with a tomahawk in his
skull.
Having exchanged insults with Eric, Cassandra finds herself
in an interview room with the local police. Determined to
prove her innocence, Cassandra sets out to investigate on
her own. As she learns more, she finds another body.
Her landlord also is under suspicion since his tomahawk was
used to kill Eric.
When someone tries to kill Cassandra, she knows that she is
making progress; although, she isn't sure where it all
leads.
Well-written with interesting characters, RENDEZVOUS TO DIE
FOR was an

their place in society today. Readers will be fascinated
by local politics and the mystery.
