Alex Connor is a snarky sarcastic character who is able to see all sorts of magical creatures. She's a bit of a reluctant heroine at first but about halfway through the book, she really begins to come into her own. She starts to become the kick-ass woman she was meant to be and her transformation is something that you just have to see for yourself!

PRECINCT 13 is hilarious and the main character will knock you off your feet. There are some killer pop-culture references that will have you rolling in laughter and tons of pulse-pounding scenes to put you on the edge of your seat.

PRECINCT 13 really puts a spin on every single supernatural phenomenon that is involved within the book. There are so many new ideas that I personally have never seen done in an urban fantasy novel. Within this book, there are fairies, gollums, zombies, magicians, vampires and more. But each has a new unique twist that is so exciting and just can't be missed.

The world that Tate Hallaway has created in this new modern paranormal romance is something that you will definitely want to check out! I'm so excited for the next book in the series and will be the first one in line when it arrives. Can't wait to read more from this wonderful author!!
