Thriller

When Calvin Grant receives a video from the Prophet, he decides it is time to act. He has already received three letters, each one stating that Grant, as President of the United States, needs to tell the American people to turn from their wicked ways and seek God. The Prophet warns that eminent destruction will come in 14 days if they do not. Grant gathers a team made up of FBI Agent Megan Taylor, CIA Agent Jonathan Keene and old friend Bozwell Hamilton. They are tasked with the job of finding the Prophet.

Meanwhile, over a hundred sheriff's deputies are missing along the Texas border. After using the GPS locators in their cars to find them, they discover all have been killed, execution style. Taylor, Keene and Hamilton trace the Prophet to a small town in Texas and decide that is where they need to start their search. But when the stock market suddenly crashes, President Grant decides to make the speech to the nation about the Prophet before the team leaves for Texas. He believes the Prophet will attend the speech. In the midst of his speech, someone takes a shot at the President, seriously wounding him in the head. This assassination attempt changes the game.

Only Keene goes to Texas, while Taylor takes on the job of finding the shooter. Her investigation leads to the Director of the Department of Homeland Security, Marianne Levy, and documents indicating Levy has been dealing with the Chinese to allow access into the US along the Canadian border, bypassing customs. Further digging into Levy's computer records reveals the name of a deadly assassin, Alexandria Smith. Taylor and Hamilton are off in search for these two women.

On July 4th, disaster strikes. All the major cities along the west coast are bombed and mostly destroyed. Other major cities are also bombed and many military bases leveled. As the President fights for his life and the country has no real leadership in the vice president, will the United States survive these attacks?

This futuristic novel is set in the year 2025. The United States has had some poor leadership over the past several years, has downsized their military forces and is very vulnerable. Congress also restructured the checks and balances of the branches of government and has given sole power to Homeland Security for overseeing the CIA, FBI and the military. The nation is in serious trouble, politically, financially and spiritually. Will America be able to pull itself together and set itself on the right path? THE 13: FALL is the first of two books planned to tell this riveting, action-packed thriller series. You'll be spellbound from the first page. The authors have joined forces to produce a real winner that you will surely enjoy. Don't miss this one!
