Okay, I usually like to read novels with a deep and more moving message, except that, occasionally, I simply need to delve into a novel that is sexy and somewhat decadent. THE STRIP fits this description perfectly - thank goodness!
When I was younger I use to devour Jacqueline Susann novels and the Strip reminded me of this type of writing. Each sentence feels a little bit naughty and the 3 main characters have clearly been "created" to make me blush.
Is this book a high literary read? Of course not, but it is much more enjoyable because it is just so much fun and more than a little daring.
If you like your books to be a little bit more on the "straight and narrow" then this is not for you, but if you are looking for an imaginary romp that you could never really live in "real life", then THE STRIP is the perfect novel for you. Enjoy!
