Romance Suspense
Reece Howard's memories of her time in Copper Lake cause
horrible nightmares and keep her emotionally crippled.
Not surprisingly, she resists all invitations to return to her
grandparents' home. Now, the time has come to face the
past. Reece knows that she will never be able to marry
until she is able to solve the mysteries of the summer that
she spent in Copper Lake. Jones has returned to Copper Lake to find out what happened
to his brother, Glen. Glen's backpack and clothes have been
found. No sign of a body, but Jones knows that Glen would
never have left his few belongings behind. He knows that
Fair Winds is where he will find the answers. Jones makes
his living restoring historical gardens to their former
glory. When he meets Reece and she has no memories of their
previous meeting, Jones knows that he must help her in her
quest to find his own truths. This is a very spooky story filled with unusual characters
and ghosts of the past.
SUMMARY
"What happened that summer?" The ill-fated vacation Reece Howard spent at her
grandparents' Georgia home long ago changed her in ways her
mind still refuses to remember. She forgot about the man she
once knew as "Jones," but she can't ignore the flashes of
desire she now feels toward him. With her family estranged,
she doesn't have a good reason to return to Fair Winds.
Until now. Jones is looking for answers…answers he can find only at the
plantation he left behind years before. By surprise, he
discovers Reece there—all grown up and beautiful—never
imagining he might be able to help chase away her demons.
And neither of them expects an attraction as combustible as
the secrets surrounding them. But falling in love might be the most dangerous thing they
can do….
