Romance Erotica Sensual | Paranormal Romance

A respected widow and an attendant of the Regency court, Lady Jane DeWitte finds herself dreaming of a man with startling green eyes that leaves her breathless with pleasure only to awaken to a reality she is no longer satisfied with. She is employed as the attendant to the Duchess of Kent, a respectable employment for a penniless widow. Her position depends on discretion and propriety. She is staying in Kensington House awaiting her mistress' delivery of the heir apparent. Though her late husband was amiable and good their marriage bed left her unsatisfied and unknowledgeable in the ways of pleasure. Her dreams awaken desires she had never imagined could exist. If only she could have the passion of her dreams become reality.

Sir Thomas Lynne was seduced by the Faery queen, Tatiana, two centuries ago and her magic keeps him young. He is the captain of her moral guard, other mortals she has seduced into her service. Her only goal is to kill the babe carried by the Duchess of Kent, but the royals have warded Kensington House against the Fae with the help of their sorcerers and sorceresses in their employ to guard against a takeover that could change the fate of Britain, and with it all humankind. She must gain entry to the house to kill the babe that is prophesied to be the end of the Fae's connection to the mortal realm. She sends her most trusted servant, Sir Thomas Lynne, to seduce Lady Jane DeWitte in a bid to gain entry to that which seeks.

Thomas sees Jane as a means to help his glorious queen take over the mortal realm. Thomas does not count on the strength of the attraction he feels towards Jane. The passion that is ignited between them very well may be his undoing. It is forbidden for Thomas to love any other than his queen. This mission may cost him his heart and possibly his life.

This story burns up the pages with the characters' steamy love scenes and the struggle they both face by attempting to maintain a purely physical relationship. Marissa Day captures the readers attention immediately with her opening love scene and setting the stage for each passionate encounter in the pages to come. Day brings the elements of a historical romance together and adds some spice with a little dominate/submission play. This story will heat up the room with its passion play and forbidden love. The reader will see the characters grow and transform before their very eyes as they turn each page. This is must read book for erotic romance lovers.
