Jacob Ebenezer decides to take a shortcut to the divorce
lawyer's office. Driving through a snowstorm on Christmas
Eve, he and Marlee, his wife for just a few more minutes,
collide with a semi on County Line Road. When Marlee
awakes, Jacob is gone. She gets out of the car to search
for him. Plowing through the snow, she sees a light in a
distant farmhouse and heads that direction.
A kind old man welcomes Marlee into his home and warms her
