Serai has spent the past eleven thousand years locked away
in a crystal cage below the sea on the lost continent of
Atlantis. Serai, once a princess, was asked by her father
to submit to the long slumber while she prepared to marry
Atlantis' future king. But when her intended decides to
marry a mortal instead, Serai is left in a deep sleep for
eleven thousand years. Daniel was Serai's greatest love
before Atlantis sank into the sea. When an army of invaders
ravaged Atlantis, Daniel shielded Serai from a possible

malfunctioned Serai managed her escape. The stone named
the Emperor is in fact a gem taken from the trident of the
god, Poseidon. It holds enormous power not only over the
women who have been sleeping for thousands of years, but it
is also the key to Atlantis' return from his watery grave.
The Emperor, however, has fallen into the hands of a
dangerous sorceress named Ivy. Completely unaware of the
gem's great power, Ivy futilely attempts to use it, only to
be caused unbearable physical pain by the gem's power.
Serai and her sleeping sisters also grow weaker every time
Ivy attempts to handle the stone.
Ivy, however, is not working alone. She is being helped by
a vampire named Nicholas and his mortal partner who have
sinister plans for all mortals on earth. With Ivy's help,
they plan to take over all financial institutions and
convince mortals that Atlanteans are evil, which will
destroy Atlantis' final hope of regaining its rightful
place in the world.
Part of Alyssa Day's The Warriors of Poseidon series,
VAMPIRE IN ATLANTIS, is a fairy tale vampire romance with a
historical twist. The novel reads a bit slow in the
beginning, and the bad guys weren't developed enough and
play a very small part of the novel. But Daniel and Serai's
sleeping beauty romance seals the deal. Magically romantic,
with just the right amount of Atlantean humor, Alyssa Day
has resurrected Atlantis!
The most unexpected of all allies to Poseidon's warriors has
proven to be the fiercest-Daniel, a vampire and Night Guild
