Erotic

This is a book full of many different short stories about woman and their submission. Rachel Kramer Bussel does a great job once again in bringing together so many stories from so many different authors. If you enjoy this genre you will definitely like this book. SURRENDER: EROTIC TALES OF FEMALE PLEASURE AND SUBMISSION brings the reader over twenty entertaining stories. With so many stories to read there is bound to be one for everyone.

Although I have read some of the stories in this book before, I did enjoy many of the new stories. A few had more of an effect on me than others but I did enjoy this book all the way through. Some of the stories that stood out for me were the ones that showed the trust and love between the main characters.

Without Eyes by Terri Pray is a good example of just that. Susan and Tom have a wonderful relationship that only gets better with the help of a blindfold. Susan trusts Tom and shows him just how much she loves him and their relationship.

Another story that stands out is The Royalton: A Daray Tale by Tess Danesi. Dar and Tess are a couple who live a different kind of life. On this night, Dar has decided to give Tess what she has been longing for. This will be a night that Tess will not forget for a long time to come. She is blindfolded and enjoys the pleasures of two men. She never knows just the identity of the second man who joins the couple for their fun, but she has no qualms with that and loves Dar for what he has given her.

While these two stories stood out for me, the rest of them were just as good. I enjoyed being able to read a story or two before going to bed or whenever I had a few minutes. It was nice to be able to read a whole story at a time. Sometimes that's all it takes to entertain a reader.

SUMMARY

Rachel Kramer Bussel's bestselling books of submissive women and dominant men showcase our fantasies, desires, and deepest wishes. For those (and there are MANY) who love to be tired up, spanked, blindfolded, bound, or "used," for another's pleasure, these are books of inspiration. And, of course, these smart subs are getting exactly what THEY really want in very many ways. Good BDSM erotica makes us understand all the emotions that can come into play when, well, playing: there can be uncertainty, nervousness, fear, excitement.

Each of the 22 stories in Surrender are blazingly hot and because they illuminate some aspect of submission. The authors of the stories understand the art of submission and the thrill of surrender, whether that’s personal space, sight (“Without Eyes” by Terri Pray) or culinary choices (“Lunch” by Elizabeth Coldwell). What the women here want is to give up part of themselves to gain something else. They may still be skittish, but overcoming their fears, surrendering to them, yields beauty, pleasure and, in its way, power.
