Mind control might be a big deal, but Colt's childhood friend Dani and his new friend Oz (who he has met before -- just before he has his memory wiped in the prologue), help him uncover bigger secrets. Alien secrets. Secrets said aliens will stop at nothing to keep hidden.

From flying motorcycles to underwater fights, the action is pretty much non-stop, making this a quick page-turner that will appeal to reluctant readers. INVASION will also appeal to comic book fans, which is fitting, considering that Lewis also writes comics. INVASION keeps referring to a super-hero known as the Phantom Flyer, who was the star of a whole series of comics in Colt's grandfather's day. Interestingly, the Phantom Flier, did appear once in a real comic, Contact Comic #5 (1945), where, just like INVASION says, he faced off against the Nazis.

The science-fiction world is well developed, and the technology is flashy and fun. This is the first book in the C.H.A.O.S. series.
