Romance Paranormal

Not only is Delia one of the best at being a stone conservator, she also talks to the statues and, in a weird turn of events, they actually talk back to her. When a fire nearly destroys her ancestral home, Delia must go back and take care of her estranged father. Delia finds herself in a financial pinch and must sell her home to pay for her father's medical care. Grant Wolverton, a man from her past, steps in and offers to buy and renovate the house. Delia makes Grant promise her that she will be the one to oversee everything. The two find themselves attracted to one another but will the evil that lurks forever near tear them apart?

STONE KISSED is a fast paced read that grabs your attention right from the start. I loved that Delia was not only a smart and feisty woman but she was able to stand up for herself. Grant is a good man who will always protect the ones that he loves. I enjoyed watching the two interact as their relationship bloomed. Add in another woman who wants not only Grant but also the land that Delia's house sits on and its magic, and the chaos begins. Seeing Delia fight for everything that is dear to her, including their lives, made for a good story.

Keri Stevens' story, full of wonderful characters, keeps you entertained from start to finish. This book has it all, not only do you get romance and suspense but you are also treated to some magic. I really enjoyed some of the conversations Delia has with the statues,a new and intriguing idea. I hope to see more works from this author in the future. If you are looking for something fresh and new than this is a book that I recommend.

SUMMARY

When Delia Forrest talks to statues, they talk back. She is, after all, the last of the Steward witches.

After an arsonist torches her ancestral home with her estranged father still inside, Delia is forced to sell the estate to pay his medical bills. Her childhood crush, Grant Wolverton, makes a handsome offer for Steward House, vowing to return it to its former glory. Delia agrees, as long as he’ll allow her to oversee the restoration.

Working so closely with Grant, Delia finds it difficult to hide her unique talent—especially when their growing passion fuels her abilities.

But someone else lusts after both her man and the raw power contained in the Steward land. Soon, Delia finds herself fighting not just for Grant’s love, but for both their lives…
