Mystery

Cooper Lee is ready for life to settle back to normal after helping local law enforcement solve a mystery and definitely ready for the Hope Street Church study group to get together. The man above obviously has other plans as Cooper's truck tire goes flat leaving her stranded on a deserted highway, and sending her Edward Crosby, the one man capable of tempting Cooper away for her boyfriend, Nathan. Edward has perfect timing as he rides up on his motorcycle to lend a hand, then a frantic phone call from her sister puts her on the back of the motorcycle cutting the rescue short.

Once again, Cooper is in the same room as a dead body begging for her attention to solve the mystery of why someone can be so cruel as to take a life. But this time, the situation is more dire and personal, since Cooper's sister is directly involved and is the police's #1 suspect. Cooper asks the Hope Street Church study group for guidance and finds they are all willing to help a friend in need. As the group pools their resources, they uncover a deadly game that is sure to lead to more murders, challenging Cooper's faith as the danger escalates. All the while, the situation with Nathan and Edward spirals out of control.

This next book in the Hope Street Church Mystery series is sweet and inspirational with a touch of danger. Granny is a hoot!

SUMMARY

Cooper Lee has a new outlook on life, thanks to her friends at Hope Street Church. Spending time with the Sunrise Bible Study Group nourishes her mind and soul. But home is where the heart is—along with Mrs. Lee’s baked treats—and Cooper is indeed happy to have such a great family to come home to when not spending time with Nathan, a friend from the group who just might be (fingers crossed) The One. So when her sister, Ashley, is implicated in a gruesome murder, Cooper snaps into action. Along with Nathan and her friends from Hope Street, Cooper vows to solve this unholy mess—with a wing, a prayer, and a small dose of snooping…
