For the past six years, Haley King has been living under the witness protection program after playing a key part in bringing down a major drug dealer. She left behind her husband of 20 years and her two sons to protect them from the dangers of her fateful decision to testify. Haley always wanted to be a part of law enforcement. Though her first successful case took away her family and her sense of security, it did not destroy her determination to become a private investigator.

Now, circumstances have changed to allow Haley to leave the program and return home. Unfortunately, with the disappearance of her boss, Haley brings trouble back with her. Haley's decision to testify resulted in death threats and ultimately landed her in the witness protection program and out of his life and their sons. When Greg unbelievably sees his wife in town, it kicks him into high gear to find out why she is keeping her appearance a secret.
