Thriller Legal | Thriller Psychological

Criminal defense attorney Harrison J. Walker, who is known as Jaywalker only has 6 months left on his three-year suspension that was handed down by the Judicial Panel for allegedly accepting a bribe from a client. As he is trying to tow the line Amanda Drake seduces him into representing her husband Carter Drake. Carted is known as the Audi assassin because of the accident he caused while speeding his Audio sports car on the wrong side of the road and forcing an oncoming van off the road. After being forced off the road the van bursts into flames killing all nine of its occupants, which included 8 children. As he begins to fight this case Jaywalker struggles with moral issues. He must stay focused and limit the harm to his client. He does this by showing the legal system's wrongs in the laws regarding drunk driving. While trying to keep his client safe from a murder charges he comes across a blind spot in his case. When Harrison finds out what may be the truth it could just turn his defense case upside down. Can Jaywalker win his case? Has he been a fool and tricked into fighting and representing the wrong client? Will justice prevail? This book is a legal thriller that has the main character walking a very thin line between good and bad. With an interesting twist to the story that the reader never suspects this story will keep you turning the pages till the end. DEPRAVED INDIFFERENCE by Joseph Teller is the third book in this series but can be read on it's own. If you enjoy courtroom drama and mystery you will enjoy this thriller.
