A brush with death last year has Nicki Styx seeing and communicating with the dead. Many of the dead come expecting Nicki to finish their business for them. It seems this holiday season Nicki may have messed with someone she should not have. She is visited by three spirits who think they need to teach her a lesson about meddling where she shouldn't. One of these spirits just happens to be a succubus and she is out to get Nicki's boyfriend. Nicki and Joe's relationship starts to unravel because of the succubus and her lies. The succubus continues to draw a huge wedge between the two and inserting herself into every aspect of Nicki's life. Adding to this chaos and Nicki's turmoil is the Devil himself. Going by the name of Sammy the Devil has come to find out just what is going on. Nicki must try and figure out why the spirits are tormenting her and whether or not to believe Sammy. Can she trust the Devil? He claims to have feelings for her but how can she be sure that he isn't out to get her? She loves her boyfriend Joe and he could be the one she decides to settle down with forever. As you read this story you feel for Nicki, as Selene the succubus always seems to get the upper hand. Nicki is a strong woman and she has friends that stick by her no matter what. The bond Nicki and Joe share is a wonderful thing to read and as you read this book you can only hope that it isn't torn apart by Selene. That their bond will withstand it all and that they will have their happy ever after in the end.

SILENT NIGHT, HAUNTED NIGHT is a fast paced read. Terri Garey immerses the reader into another world and doesn't let you go until the end. With great characters and a good plot this story keeps you entertained from beginning to end.
