Delaney is on his own suicide mission. He intends to rid
the world of the Dragons Blood Elixir and the evil Magnus.
Delaney knows that he will more than likely die doing this
but he needs to complete this task himself and rid the
dragon world of the threat he sees himself as. Little does
he know that he is on a collision course to meet his mate.
As Delaney stops in a small bar he is caught by surprise.
Feeling the Firestorm he knows that he has met his one and
only mate. He decides on enjoying himself one last time and
ensuring the continuation of his line. Of course Ginger has
other plans for Delaney. She soon finds out just who and
what Delaney really is. As she learns and begins to trust
the dragons Ginger finds herself falling hard for Delaney.
She must fight for and even against Delaney himself. Can
she show him what love is and that he is more than worth
the risk before it is too late? Each day Delaney and
Gingers bond grows stronger but is it enough? Will her love
for him be enough to show him the hardest fight is the
fight to live?
I enjoyed Gingers toughness and straightforwardness. She
doesn't become frightened when she learns about Delaney and
takes everything in stride. She is one tough cookie
especially seen when she is kidnapped and taken prisoner by
Magnus. Delaney is a great man. He is honor bound and wants
to do what he thinks is the right thing to do no matter
what the consequences even if they are his life. These two
seem to be made for each other, two halves of a whole.
Their ever-growing love was a sweet story to read. Both
Ginger and Delaney are willing to give all for the other no
matter what the outcome. WINTER KISS is a quick paced and
entertaining read. Deborah Cooke takes the reader for a
magical ride with characters full of depth and emotion.
The mysterious Dragon’s Blood Elixir gives immortality to
Magnus, the Pyr’s greatest enemy, and his minions.
The Pyr must destroy this source of power, and
outcast Delaney vows to complete the quest himself. Delaney
was exiled because of his dangerous impulses, and success
in eliminating the Elixir will either redeem him or end his
suffering.
But his plans don’t take into account his sudden firestorm —
or fiery Ginger Sinclair. The firestorm revitalizes
Delaney, restoring him to his old self. And when Ginger
learns about Delaney’s mission, she realizes she cannot
resist a strong man with a noble agenda.
