Mystery

Matt Royal is our favorite big-city lawyer who has retired to the land of sunny Florida, moving through the day like a lovable beach bum. He has his best friends and a code of friendship like none other. Having served in the military with these men and shared in many adventures, their bond is strong. When one of his best friends, Laurence Wyatt, is murdered, Matt is not going to let it go.

Using his many connections, Matt digs in deep and tracks each step backward until he finds the culprit who ordered his friend's death. His pursuit takes him out of the United States into the world of hired killers and dangerous criminals who feel no remorse when they put out a marker on someone. Because Matt is a man who never gives up, he puts himself out there and soon the noise he makes catches someone's attention. When the tables turn and Matt finds himself soon to be the next victim, he knows when it is smart to quit and when it is smart to call in backup. However, Matt is a relentless man determined to seek revenge for his friend's murder and that's why Matt calls in Logan Hamilton and Jock Algren, two battle buddies who have their own deep connections.

H. Terrell Griffin reveals a more complex side of Matt Royal in WYATT'S REVENGE. We get to see how far Matt will go to seek revenge and wonder if pursuing revenge makes a man no better than the men he's after. Would Matt put a gun to another man's head and kill him in the name of revenge? Matt Royal is a loyal friend, one that anyone would want to have as a comrade. WYATT'S REVENGE is another great installment in H. Terrell Griffin's series.

SUMMARY

On balance, retired trial lawyer turned-beach bum Matt Royal is a pretty laid-back fellow. But when Laurence Wyatt, one of Matt's best friends, is murdered, Matt trades in his easygoing ways for a hard-hitting quest for revenge.

Matt knows the Longboat Key police will do their job in investigating. But for Matt, finding Wyatt's killer isn't a job; it's personal. Determined to do whatever it takes to solve Wyatt's murder, Matt takes matters into his own hands and embarks on a clandestine investigation. Soon, Matt finds himself in hot pursuit of a cadre of remorseless criminals and trained killers, but the tables turn and Matt becomes the pursued.

Faced with mounting danger, Matt calls for backup from his buddies Jock Algren and Logan Hamilton. Matt Royal would go to the ends of the earth to exact revenge for Wyatt's murder, but will he go outside the law? Expect the unexpected in this wild and dangerous ride from Longboat Key, Florida, to Frankfurt, Germany, because hell hath no fury like Matt Royal scorned.
