Caine refuses and leaves the pack to be his own lone wolf. His fellow pack members don't want Caine to leave and will do whatever they can to bring him back into the fold. But for the moment, Caine's problems with his pack are pushed to the side because their enemy, the panthers, want to take the werewolves down. While Caine is meeting with his fellow pack members at a club, he notices Emma. Even though Emma gives him the brush off, there is something about her that makes him want to claim her as his mate. When Emma's aunt is kidnapped, Emma has no where else to turn but to Caine. Caine won't let her endanger herself and will help her find out why her fragile aunt was taken, and why the ones responsible also want Emma. Caine and his fellow werewolf friends, as well as some vampires, will stand by Caine even after they find out that Emma may be their worst enemy. SCIONS: REVELATIONS is book three in this series by Patrice Michelle who has written an excellent action packed paranormal with all types of creatures from vampires to werewolves. Patrice's heroes are very alpha but also respectful and tender to the women they feel are theirs. The urge to protect the ones they love is very deep and the way Caine watches over Emma is very sweet and endearing. Emma is over her head as she finds out she is not human and that her whole life has been one big lie. The mystery of her heritage is one that will have the reader hooked, as well as the growing love she and Caine have for one another. There are some great action scenes, as well as some nice love scenes. Beloved characters from past books make their appearance as well as some new ones that will catch your interest. The Scions series makes for great reading and SCIONS: REVELATION is another great installment that shouldn't be passed up.
