Romance Paranormal | Romance Suspense

Taige Branch had a hard childhood. Her parents died when she was young. Her uncle took her in but he abused her phyically and mentally. The only acceptance she received was from some friends; until she met Cullen Morgan. Cullen accepted her unusual qualities and they fell in love. Until one day, Cullen's mother was killed and he couldn't forgive Taige for not knowing about it ahead of time. He trampled her heart and threw her out. Even though he was cruel, Taige accepted that she needed to develop some control of her gifts. Now, Taige is a contractor with the FBI and she uses her abilities to their fullest. Even though she and Cullen have had no contact for years, she knows that they will see each other again. When Cullen's daughter is kidnapped, he seeks out Taige for help. Taige has dreamed of a young girl for years. Her shock at seeing that young girl in the picture of Cullen's daughter is unfeigned. Together, Cullen and Taige will seek to find the monster who kidnapped Jillian and keep one step ahead of the FBI. The agent who works with Taige knows of Jillian's own gifts and wants to use them to find the killer. Ms. Walker has delivered a gut-wrenching thriller and a heart-wrenching romance in one with THE MISSING. Told from the perspective of Taige, we see her mature from a young woman to a woman who has the courage to face the evil of the world not expecting anything in return. There is an immense satisfaction in reading the ending of this story.

SUMMARY

Her psychic gift drove away the man she loved— and years later has drawn him back to her…

As a teenager, Taige Branch hated her psychic gift. No one could understand—except for Cullen Morgan, the boy who stole her heart. He did his best to accept her, until his mother was brutally murdered—and he couldn’t forgive Taige for not preventing it.

Now a widowed father, Cullen Morgan has never forgotten Taige. But what brings her back into his life is another tragedy. His beloved little girl has been kidnapped, and Taige is his only hope of finding her. Working together against the clock, Cullen and Taige can’t help but wonder whether—if they find his daughter in time— it isn’t too late for the overpowering love that still burns between them…
