Lara Adrian's VEIL OF MIDNIGHT is book five of the Midnight Breed series. Well-written and beautifully plotted, with intriguingly complex characters, it's a thrill ride from the opening scenes. Renata and Niko are flawed heroes, struggling with their reality and recognizing in the other a kindred spirit. Apart, they are strong, fierce warriors, together, they're a force to be reckoned with. The multi-layered plotline continues to lead readers to what promises to be a battle of epic proportions. Niko's story is the one I've most looked forward to throughout the series, but Ms. Adrian has set up a couple of characters in this story with events I look forward to reading about. Fans get ready, this series just gets better and better!
