Donovan O'Shea returns to the family farm in Ireland in the midst of an archeological dig to discover the professor in charge of the dig has found a body. Donovan is forcibly reminded why he moved to the States from Ireland β to escape the "visions" he suffered all his life. Enter Rylie Powell, who, after her mother died of cancer, is looking for the father who deserted her shortly after her birth. Evidence suggests Rylie and Donovan are half-siblings. While the relationship may be true, Rylie is appalled to find Donovan extremely sexually attractive. Now, together they must dig through the mysteries of the past to find the truth.
I read THE WILD SIGHT in one sitting as I had to find the answer to the puzzle. The attraction between Rylie and Donovan is compelling and Donovan's visions are intense. Although suggesting a resolution, I did not get the full focus until the very end. A compelling tale of Ireland, past and present βthey HAVE to have a Starbucks coffee in Dublinβ the romance evolves fast and furiously while the murder is old and new. I will be checking the bookstores for the next book from Loucinda McGary!
