Special Agent Kelly Jones is at it again. Her plans of vacationing in the Caribbean were put on hold when her boss, Special Agent in Charge Gerald McLarty, assigned her to a case in dire need of her expertise. Somebody, or actually, two some bodies had been having a little killing spree up on the Appalachian Trail. Bodies found by hikers and authorities had crossed the barriers of time and state boundaries. Her so called helpers in the line of law enforcement were like two sibling rivals whom she suspected were holding up progress on purpose. To make matters worse, Jake shows up intent on having her attention split between work and him. Finally when they find a suspect with evidence enough to make him look guilty her gut tells her he's not the one, so why is everyone trying to pin it on him? She suspects he is just a scapegoat. When she refuses to give up and things actually start to fall in place, it gets personal with the assisting officers. Will she have to can both of them or just call Internal Affairs? Better yet, can she keep Jake at bay or will she have to can him as well? This was not how her vacation was supposed to go, meanwhile, a killer or killers is on the loose and it was down to the wire. She had to find them both before they crossed the line for good. Michelle Gagnon has done it again - another great victory for Kelly Jones. BONEYARD is suspense filled and dynamic in plot. The Appalachian Trail becomes the foundation for a terrifying journey for not only hikers but readers as well. You won't be able to put it down, not that you would want to turn the lights out anyway with this one. Great stuff!!!! Keep it coming Kelly Jones.
