Jonah Closky has no family other than his mother and he
intends on keeping it that way, regardless of the fact that
his mom has recently been reintroduced to her former husband
and clan. It's a little too little and a lot too late for
Jonah, but he would do anything for his mom. His promise a
long time ago to grant her any wish just came back to bite
him in the butt! She wants a family reunion of sorts, and he
is the guest of honor. No such honor, especially after being
deemed the "Dirty Developer" by the papers. He really
doesn't care what they think of him, but that was just the
icing on the cake. This isn't going to be a cakewalk for him
or the Mitchells if he can help it.
Daphne Larson, supplier of organic herbs and veggies to the
Mitchells, loves the family as if it were her own. When the
brazing, beautiful Jonah comes in claiming to be the long
lost son who wants nothing to do with this family, she is
surprised to find that he is the "Dirty Developer" as well.
Although there is a lot of hurt, there is something else in
those luscious eyes and ways that make her not believe a
word or a thing about that title. She is bound to get the
dirt on him. Meanwhile, will he get the scoop on her as well?
WORTH FIGHTING FOR, one of Harlequin's Super Romance novels,
is well worth the read. Sadly, last in the series, Molly
O'Keefe has finished off the Mitchells of Riverview Inn with
a bang. Just the right amount of romance, tension and
feeling makes this a book worth reading more than once.
Great job on a great series!
This is one reunion Jonah Closky wants no part of. If not
for his mother's wishes, he wouldn't even be meeting his
estranged father and brothers. The real surprise about
being at this inn, however, is Daphne Larson, an outspoken
organic farmer who gives as good as she gets. Most
remarkable of all, the smart, sassy single mother is
making him yearn for things he doesn't even know he
needs.
But taking their relationship further means
coming to terms with his complicated feelings toward these
men—his father and brothers. It means forgiving the past
so he can build a future with Daphne…and finally have the
family he's always wanted.
