Jo Davis has written a gripping romantic suspense. Her writing draws us into a fascinating game where a killer is seeking vengeance. She even gives us glimpses into the crazed mind of the arsonist. Her story is never boring and there are many twists and turns, some of which are predictable, but overall it is an enjoyable tale. TRIAL BY FIRE is filled with action, some sexy and some sinister, that pulls the reader in for a sensational ride that leads to an exciting, suspense filled conclusion. I look forward to the next book about the men and the woman who populate Station Five.
