Vivian Cairn's decision to take a sabbatical from teaching
Forensic Anthropology at the university is one she makes on
her own. She needs to figure out why she's beginning to
experience black-outs and loss of time that put her in the
strangest of places. She also wants to take some time to
research the collection of red satchels full of dust and
bones her father left her many years ago. Vivian is
interrupted by a visitor requesting her expertise, only to
be attacked by a supernatural being her visitor quickly
dispersed of, saving her life and adding to her confusion.
Sorcerer Dain Hawkins needs a bone specialist to help him
determine if men being brutally murdered and the ancient
bones in the red gris-gris voodoo bags have some creepy
connection. After Dain enters Vivian's home and kills a
demon, he learns she has a collection of the same red bags
he wants her to research. Dain makes the decision to take
Vivian with him, which is his only option until he receives
some answers. Now he has a problem -- he's feeling strong
emotions towards this woman, emotions he's buried since the
loss of his family many years ago.
As the second book in this compelling paranormal series,
DEMON'S HUNGER is fun, suspenseful and extremely action-
packed. I absolutely loved it!
Forensic anthropologist Vivien Cairn fears she's
losing her mind. Her libido has kicked into overdrive,
and she's blacking out-leaving hours of her life
unaccounted for and no memory of where she's been...or
what she's done. But when a sexy stranger rescues her
from a demon attack, Vivien realizes there's more than
just her sanity at stake...
A seductive killer is luring victims, and Sorcerer
Dain Hawkins finds himself walking a dangerous line
between ancient duty and sizzling desire when the
brotherhood-and Vivien herself-begin to suspect that
her mysterious symptoms may connect her to the crimes.
Can Dain save Vivien from the evil that threatens to
claim her? Or will they both succumb to...Demon's
Hunger...
