Romance Historical

We return to Stone Creek, Arizona, with another wonderful Yarbro man. Wyatt Yarbro is tired of rustling and robbing trains and decides to make a fresh start. What better place to do that than Stone Creek, the town where his brother, Rowdy, made a new start, got married and is now sheriff. Wyatt heads north to join his brother and, hopefully, find redemption.

Wyatt isn't in Stone Creek long before he meets Sarah Tamlin. As much as he's always dreamed of a wife and family, a woman in a calico dress who'd call him to supper after a day of hard work, she never had a face. Now, she does, and it is Sarah's.

After he hears of a hanging in a neighboring town, Rowdy goes off to look for a gang of cattle thieves, making Wyatt the temporary sheriff, a good start his mama would be proud of. It also gives Wyatt time to get to know Sarah a little better.

Sarah's father owns the Stockman's Bank in town. What no one knows is that due to health issues, Sarah has been running the bank for her father. And Sarah is harboring a deep secret of her own behind her prim and proper facade. As she begins to lose her heart to Wyatt, will she ruin her hopes for love and the chance of a future with him if she keeps that secret buried? Wyatt plans on proposing marriage to Sarah as soon as he has steady wages coming in. How long can Wyatt and Sarah hide from their pasts? What does the future hold for this passionate, loving, deserving couple?

Take the next journey to Stone Creek, with the latest Yarbro man brought to his knees by a woman. It's an adventure of the heart you don't want to miss. Once again, Ms. Miller graces us with a "not so perfect" hero, as likable as any hero ever was, and a delightful, heart- melting story with a romance that sizzles with passion. It's another winner by an author you never want to miss.
