Kelley St. John

Romance Series

Charles Roussel doesn't expect Nanette Vicknair to welcome him with open arms, after he abandoned her twelve years ago and not to mention the fact that Nanette is in danger of losing her home because of him. Charles finds himself desperate to fix things between them. When Charles gets into a car accident he finds himself in limbo, neither dead nor alive, some place in between. Things aren't so bad for Charles because he gets to visit Nanette and seduce her in her dreams.

Nanette as always found it difficult to resist Charles but, when he comes to her in her dreams, she finds herself unable to resist temptation. Nanette gives into her desire to be with Charles because it's what she wants, it's what she's always wanted. Will Nanette be able to bring Charles back before it's too late?

I read one of the previous books in this series, so I had my fingers crossed that Charles and Nanette would get their happily ever after but, this book exceeded my expectations for Nanette and Charles. I loved the risk that Kelley St. John took in creating a world that defies all logic but, somehow found a way to make it believable to me, the reader. The word that popped in my head after I finished reading this book was "Wow" because there's no other word that could express what I felt. This book was simply amazing, Nanette and Charles felt so real, that they literally came alive in this book. The thing that I really loved about this book was how Nanette and Charles relationship progressed , it happened in a realistic way. This book taught me to believe in the impossible and that love is the strongest force out there. The love scenes in this book were scorching. I'm in awe of Kelley St. John and have become a fan of hers and can't wait to read more of her work.

SUMMARY

Charles Roussel knows he can hardly expect Nanette Vicknair to greet him with open arms. After all, not only did he abandon her twelve years ago, but now he's the reason her home is in jeopardy. Still, he desperately wants to fix things for her, for them.

Then a car accident flings Charles into a nether world, neither alive nor dead. And he's not finding it so bad….

Especially when he discovers he can visit Nan's bed every night and seduce her in her sleep.

Nanette might have been able to withstand Charles's sexual assaults in the flesh, but when he infiltrates her dreams, she's powerless to resist. She wants Charles. She's always wanted Charles. But can Nan bring him back before it's too late? And considering how mind-blowing their sex life has been recently, is she even sure she wants to?
