Olivia Gray, an American art dealer, packs up and heads to England to find her long-lost father who's never part of her life. To support her search, she opens an art shop. The detective working her case reaches a dead end, so she enlists the help of a newfound friend, Bram, who is part of a long line of magical wizards with powers beyond belief. Though Bram has ulterior motives, he also wants to help Olivia's business survive, so he introduces her to Marrok of Cadbury and his magical carvings.

For Marrok of Cadbury, King Arthur's most skilled warrior, solitude is the only life he's known because of a curse placed on him centuries ago by an enraged and thwarted witch. To pass his time, Marrok carves beautiful wood figurines that unfortunately have caught the eye of an American art dealer. When Marrok meets Olivia, sparks fly. He becomes desperate to break his curse, so he lures Olivia to his home, only to bring danger to them both because of a war involving the magic world and her father.

Shayla Black has created an exciting new paranormal world with familiar connections to Merlin and Arthur. TEMPT ME WITH DARKNESS is lots of fun and very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading the next adventure in this magical Doomsday Brotherhood series.
