DARK MASTER is book one in Tawny Taylor's new Master of Desire series. Ms. Taylor has done a great job introducing us to her new world of BDSM Vampires. I do love an Alpha Vampire, and they don't get anymore Alpha or dominant than Shadow. While the sexual interactions between the hero and heroine are provocative, I was somewhat put off by the hero's unexpected interactions with others in the book as a mode to force his heroine's obedience. I enjoy reading mรฉnage relationships in erotic romance, but his interactions were used as a way to punish his heroine who he was supposed to be falling in love with. The book is smoking hot, but unfortunately, those scenes left me feeling unsettled.
