In the hills of Scotland, Quinn MacIntyre and Ian MacGregor are thieves stealing from the rich in the name of "The Piper." One fateful night, their ruse does not work out as planned, so running becomes their only option. Unfortunately, a beautiful siren standing in the middle of the road startles Quinn's horse. This gives their pursuers just enough time to catch Quinn. Ian finds himself saving the mysterious woman while trying to find a way to rescue his friend and brother.

As a history teacher, Maggie Graham's fascination with the Scottish Highlands is understandable and slightly on the obsessive side. To her delight, her sisters and best friend surprise her with a trip to her beloved Scotland to participate in an archaeological site located in the Highlands. During her stay, Maggie ventures to the site and starts to figure out some of the sayings left long ago when she begins to feel funny. The next thing she knows, she's about to be run over by a horse and rider.

Tess Mallory's time-travel romance, HIGHLAND ROGUE, is humorous, witty and absolutely fun. As always, between the lovable characters and their loyalty to one another, you won't want to put the book down. This is definitely a must-read.
