Kristy Mahoney is a bright, young clothes designer with a
goal for herself. Jack Osland is a billionaire whose main
goal in life is to save his family fortune from his
grandfather's desires to marry every gold digger he can
before he dies. Jack's plan to marry this particular gold
digger before his grandfather just couldn't get any better.
His private jet just happened to have a little engine
problem -- nothing a few nights in Vegas couldn't fix. Let
the gambling begin. Love's the game and money's the aim.
The lights in the casino may be glittery, but Jack has the
money to make life gold.
Overwhelmed by her fairytale fortune, Kristy is awestruck
with Jack but totally blown away when he asks her to marry
him in Vegas. She hardly even knows the man, but wow, what a
man he is. What a life he could provide. There had to be
some flaws, but what the heck, she couldn't resist. Now Mrs.
Jack Osland, complete with Prenup, she finds out all too
soon what those flaws are. The manipulative, selfish jerk
married her to save his fortune, but there will be no saving
him from Kristy. She has a way of getting under his skin. If
she would just go along with the charade until after
Christmas, all would be a win -- win situation -- or would it?
I absolutely loved Barbara Dunlop's THE BILLLIONAIRE WHO
BOUGHT CHRISTMAS. What a perfect read for the Holidays. It
was funny, heartwarming, and downright endearing. I laughed
out loud and found myself cheering for Kristy and Jack. Grab
a hot cup of cocoa and snuggle up to the fire for this one --
it will warm your heart.
Wife to the highest bidder
To save the family fortune, billionaire Jack Osland had to
marry a woman he barely knew. Getting struggling clothing
designer Kristy Mahoney to a Las Vegas chapel a minute
after meeting her was no problem. Even though she
supposedly loved someone else. Prenup in hand, Jack planned
to enjoy his wedding-night privileges, then walk away with
the untouchable Osland billions. He'd teach his gorgeous
temporary bride a little lesson and have a very merry
Christmas. But he had married the wrong woman...
