Emma Jamison's butler business was preparing a residence for the president-elect to stay in while visiting in town. Unfortunately, everything changes when the media snap her picture as she's leaving the house in a hurry. To escape the disturbing situation, she sells everything and heads to her grandmother's hometown in Louisiana where she's hoping to start anew.

Max Duval, the local District Attorney in Chartreuse, is doing what he can to stay out of the limelight because of the up-and-coming election and his blood-thirsty competition. When Emma arrives in his quiet town, she's a beautiful distraction. However, he refuses to listen to the gossip and does what he can to get to know her better.

I absolutely loved this book! It has all the elements a reader looks for in a great story. I cried, I laughed out loud and I got butterflies. BETWEEN THE SHEETS by Robin Wells is truly a must-read.
