American planes are exploding and falling out of the sky and no one knows why. Three commercial jets are gone and no one saw anything or heard anything. There are no clues in the wreckage that indicate missiles were used. No other planes were in the areas of the crashes and nothing showed on radar. Cammy believes the explosions are the result of a new stealth technology and it's obviously being done by one of America's enemies, but none of the usual suspect groups is claiming responsibility. She must develop a defense system against the new threat and in order to do so, she must go to the hot spot of the world. India and Pakistan could go to nuclear war and Cammy may be the only one able to find an answer to keep them from each others' throats. Meanwhile, someone's trying to kill her, and working closely with Lt. Col. Hunt Daniels isn't doing her libido any good.

GAMBIT, the second novel by Karna Small Bodman, is even better than her first novel, CHECKMATE. This book has all the action and drama we hoped her second political thriller would provide and then some. The return of Cammy, along with Hunt and other characters from the first book, brings you right back into their world. I can't wait to read about Cammy's next adventure. Don't miss GAMBIT.
