Being a single working mom has its difficulties, but Dr.
Deborah Monroe has managed to survive without too much
fanfare. Her marriage may not have been perfect, but the
product of their love created two beautiful children who
make her existence worthwhile. Living in her hometown has
its advantages as she practices medicine with her dad and
shares her life with her free-spirited sister who always

On a cold, rainy night, Deborah leaves home to
pick up her daughter, Grace, from a friend's party.
Allowing her to drive home, Deborah's biggest worry is
getting back before her son, Dylan, wakes up. All of a

time to swerve out of the way, they tragically hit him.
In a panic, Deborah sends Grace home to check on Dylan
