Patience's trust in others does not come easily, but her attraction to Ramscar does. Ramscar loves his sister, but he's coddled her for way too long and is determined for her to return to London with him. Liking Patience, he knows she's perfect for the job of helping him restore his sister's confidence. However, if he's truly honest, he employed Patience for himself, as well, considering the fact that he's unable to stop thinking about her or wanting her.

But Patience's past soon catches up with her, and her inability to trust others keeps her from confiding in Ramscar, the one person who truly loves her and would protect her with his life.

NAUGHTY BY NATURE is definitely naughty with the secrets and passion keeping the reader turning pages. I loved the characters; neither Ramscar nor Patience take any guff from anyone without a fight. Barbara Pierce is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors; she has the ability to write exciting stories that keep me coming back for more. NAUGHTY BY NATURE is one of my favorites in this series.
