The lead character, Tres Navarre, continues to endear himself to the reader through his quick- witted and often self-deprecating dialogue. The author provides just enough detail to give depth and color to the characters and the scenes, but not so much as to slow down this quick-moving story. Plot twists are sufficient to keep the reader guessing as to the identity of the killer, without the burden of an overabundance of details.
