"Unique twist to this extraordinary tale of love."

Romance Paranormal | Romance Erotica Sensual

Mrs. Pruitt approaches Alex and his partner Brian, friends and detectives, to find her true son who she swears was switched five years ago at his birth. When she mentions that he was born in Fairyville, Alex freaks out knowing he has to return to face all of the people he feels he let down, including Zoe, his first love and an important part of his tragic past. During the drive to his hometown, Alex is confident he can face anything thrown at him; he's just unsure how his heart will react to seeing the woman he fantasizes about.

Zoe Clare's gift is her unusual knack of talking to and seeing dead people. She helps the residents of Fairyville converse with their dearly departed, which since high school has set her apart from others. She is at ease with her gift and totally head-over-heels with her manager, Magnus Monroe. Zoe is working on getting him to pay attention to her when her old flame, Alex, bursts into town and brings back uncontrollable feelings, along with memories of a town scandal that no one has forgotten.

Though there was a point early in the book where I was completely and utterly shocked, I did enjoy reading Emma Holly's fantastic and extraordinary tale of a powerful love with a unique twist of paranormal.

SUMMARY

Zoe Clare is a medium who has no trouble communicating with the dead-or with real live fairies, for that matter! But she can't seem to get her feelings across to her landlord-slash-manager- Magnus Monroe, Fairyville, Arizona's most eligible bachelor. She's tired of his erotic antics with every woman in town but her. So when her high school flame returns to town, Zoe is more than a little vulnerable to his charms. How Alex broke herheart is a scandal no one in Fairyville has forgotten. But even if Zoe isn't ready to forget, she's willing to forgive. The rules they're about to break will bring out the jealousy in Magnus-and the astounding truth.
