Le Belle Riviere was once an elegant hotel with a history of tragic events. Now abandoned and soon to be torn down, the hotel is said to be haunted. When Adrienne Reynolds goes to take pictures of the condemned hotel, she discovers the brutally murdered body of her best friend, Julianna, in one of the rooms. When Adrienne is attacked shortly afterwards, she figures the killer probably thinks she photographed some evidence.

Other chilling things start happening to Adrienne, and the hotel caretaker is also found murdered. Adrienne is struggling to make sense of everything that's going on in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She knows she has to uncover the evil that's hiding in her hometown before it's too late.
