Autumn Sommers (that's Sommers with an 'o') likes her life
just the way it is, free from romantic emotional
entanglements. During the school year, she teaches 5th
grade at Lewis and Clark Elementary, and during the summer
months, she's able to indulge her passion, rock-climbing.
Autumn is an accomplished climber, one of the best in the
state, and she teaches classes at an upscale gym in the
McKenzie building in Seattle. But her life takes a sudden
detour the night she has a terrifying dream about a little
blond-haired, blue-eyed girl named Molly, who, in the
dream, is abducted by a man out in front of the girl's
house. Autumn tries to shake off the image, but the dream
recurs over the next few days, reminding Autumn of another
dream she had when she was fifteen in which two of her
friends were killed in a car crash. A week later, the
dream came true. Determined to track down the source of her
dream and possibly save the child in question, Autumn seeks
out the identity of the little girl, only to discover that
she's the lost-presumed-dead daughter of the owner of the
building in which she works.
Molly disappeared from the home of Ben and Joanne McKenzie
six years earlier, thrusting them into years of anguish
that ended their marriage and closed Ben off emotionally
from everyone around him. Autumn understands why Ben
doesn't want to hear what she has to say, but she's had
another dream, and this time, she's seen Molly as the
eleven-year-old girl she would be now. Autumn believes
that Molly is trying to reach out for help, but first she
has to convince Ben to face his old wounds and once again
allow himself to hope that his daughter is still alive.
But having Ben believe in her is just the first step.
Together, the two must piece together long lost clues,
combined with the bits of information Autumn gathers from
her dreams, in the hope that this time, Molly will be found
before it's too late.
What follows is a passionate, intense thrill ride as Ben
and Autumn work to track down Molly's abductor while
battling an intense attraction to each other that drives
Ben wild and overwhelms the relationship-phobic Autumn.
THE SUMMIT is a non-stop adventure, full of twists and
turns that will keep you guessing, with scorching scenes
between Ben and Autumn that are sure to satisfy. For
anyone who loves a fast-paced mystery/adventure, this one's
for you!
The dream came again and again a little girl abducted
from her own yard . . .
Autumn
Sommers knows the danger of ignoring such powerful omens.
Twelve years
earlier, she could have prevented a tragic accident if only
she had
acted on those horrible nightmares. For Autumn is one of
those special
people blessed or cursed with dreams that become reality.
This time she
knows what she has to do.
Her research into local
missing persons
suggests that the girl in Autumn's dreams could be Molly,
the daughter
of businessman Ben McKenzie. Still emotionally shattered
from his loss,
Ben is angered rather than relieved to hear her theory.
Certain that
she may be the girl's only chance, Autumn persists, until
Ben
grudgingly agrees to explore this tiny, if improbable, shred
of hope.
As
Autumn's dreams become more and more vivid, she and Ben

and a
disturbed zealot who may be the only person in control of
whether they
live . . . or die.
